Realisation Par Diane Dress

I found my new favorite dress – the Realisation Par Diane dress. This star-printed number from Realisation Par is everything you could want in a dress: fun, flirty, just short enough, and adjustable to flatter every figure. The ruffles and cute print let this dress speak for itself, no need to go crazy with the jewelry or accessories.

As you guys know, I love to keep my style versatile. But if I could only wear one type of clothing for the rest of my life, it would be a sundress. Little white dress season is my favorite. I love them in every variation – I’m an endless summer kind of girl (and have been absolutely loving this warmer weather we’ve been having) and nothing screams summer to me more than undone hair, clean beauty products for fresh makeup, and a silky flowy dress.

Update: I’ve received tons of questions on this dress, so I thought I would answer them here. First, it is an amazing dress. If you’re thinking about ordering it, I would do it, as it sells out often! If this dress is sold out, here are tons of options for flirty summer dresses.

I ordered the dress in an XXS and am happy with the length and fit. The material is quite thin, but not sheer. The front can be a little low, so if you’re looking to be a little more conservative, feel free to throw on a slip underneath.

The dress is adjustable around the waist, that gives some wiggle room as well. I will say that this dress is a little short (I would not wear it to my corporate job), so taller girls may want to size up for additional length.

Oh, and as with all wrap dresses – be careful wearing this on a windy day ; ).

For reference, I’m 5’5 and typically a 0 in US sizing, AUS 4-6, and UK 6. Hopefully that helps. Feel free to leave a comment below if you have any additional questions or email me at [email protected]. OR let’s connect on social: BLOGLOVIN and INSTAGRAM.

If you’re looking for a super cute black & white dress, check out this Jen’s Pirate Booty Dress. It’s one of my absolute favorites!

    Hi there,

just wondering what slip you wore under this one?

    Thanks

    • Amy Zhang says:

Hi Madeline! I’m actually not wearing a slip here, the dress is lined so I didn’t have any problems with it being see through! Hope that helps xx

Hi Amy, just wondering whether you bought this dress from the Realisation par website? I received mine today and it’s unlined and on the website it says that they come unlined. I’m just curious as to whether they were previously lined…or did you get it lined yourself? you look amazing in the dress btw!

Hi there! I did buy this dress from the Realisation Par website a few months ago. I just checked and it actually isn’t lined – I haven’t had any issues with sheerness though. If you’re worried about the dress being too sheer I would just wear a basic slip underneath. Hope this helps – let me know if you have any more questions. xx

Hi Amy. May I ask you what size your dress are? I am considering buying the same dress in blue but I am in doubt about the size.

    Thanks.

I don’t know if I should order size XS or XXS… How tall are you? I am really petite, but 173 cm tall.
The dress looks amazing on you!! xx

    • Amy Zhang says:

Hi Ulrika! I’m 5’5 (165 cm?) and the dress is somewhat short, so you might want to order the XS. Since it’s a wrap dress it’s very adjustable and I don’t think going from an XXS to an XS would make too much of a difference. I would check the measurements on Realisation Par’s website to be sure. Hope this helps! xx

    Hi Amy,
Just received my dress (i love it) but it’s a tad tight across the back (can’t do the hugging motion easily). Is yours too and that’s normal? Because i guess it is silk and so no wriggle room. I’m just considering going up a size but worried that the size up will make the other parts of the dress not fit me properly
    Thanks!

    • Amy Zhang says:

Hi JJ! I would size up, I don’t have that issue with mine. I think the other parts of the dress would be fine if you did so, since the torso is the most important part. Lmk if you have any more questions! xx

    Hi Amy
I am curious as whether to get a size XS or S. I am 170cm tall and slim however i am concerned that the length of the dress will be too short as I have a longer torso than the average person. I would just go with a S but i dont want it to be too loose around my waist and arms
    Thanks!

    • Amy Zhang says:

Hey Hannah! Realisation Par has an amazing size guide on their site that I go by : ) for reference I’m 5’5 (165 cm) and got an XXS – which is on the shorter side. If you’re worried about length I’d go for the bigger size – it’s a wrap waist so you can adjust it to make it as tight as possible. But double check the size guide on the website, they have super specific measurements that should help you make your decision! I love this dress and wear it all the time, hope you love! xx

Hi, is this dress easy to tie around your waist and is there just one set of strings to tie it at the front or is there an inner tie as well? Has it ever come loose or undone? thank you!

  15. Lily says:

Hey! Love your pictures. Is the dress more orangey or red? I definitely need more warm reds as opposed to red with blue undertones- hoped you’d be able to assist me 🙂

  16. Francesca says:

Hi Amy~! Love your website, I see here you’ve answered a lot of sizing questions already, but my question is whether an XXS will fit me around the shoulders? I’m 34A for reference, is the back really tight for you?

Also, I love short dresses so I don’t mind if it’s extra short, but just wanted to make sure I’d still be covered. I’m 174CM.

    Thanks!

    • Amy Zhang says:

I think it would be fine, but if you’re concerned I also don’t think it would hurt to size up! The wrap makes it very forgiving size wise 🙂 lmk if you have any other questions! xx
